Ryan has over 9 years of academic and industry experience behind his name. After graduating from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology with a bachelor’s in Robotic Engineering, Ryan received an academic excellence scholarship to complete a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Renewable Energy) from Stellenbosch University. He has worked in an array of exciting industries, on both the technical and business side, ranging from security to financial, renewable energy, and robotic companies. He has controlled all documentation needs for numerous businesses, simultaneously, and has worked for start-ups and well-known, mature companies. His skills and strong points relate to project management (traditional and agile forms), technical/non-technical documentation, detailed engineering analytics, engineering design/research, and business relations. Ryan spends his free time as a freelance engineering writer, helping clients mold highly technical concepts into legible content with the goal of effective communication and understanding.
